Joasia Cieslak

Teaching and playing is my passion and I am driven to figure out how can you reach the full potential of your skills, sound & all dimensions of your playing. When I teach I am fully focused on your development and I make sure that practicing at any level will enhance the positive impact of music on your mind, without fear of burnout. I grew up as a classical musician expanding to contemporary and crossover music scene. I learned from Dutch Metropole Orchestra and co-founded Jazz&Classical quintet Misceo.

I graduated Sibelius Academy in cello performance and did my post grad as soloist in Royal Academy of Music Aarhus. I’m a professional cellist with great mixture of performance and teaching experience and I can help you start or develop your cello skills and broaden your horizons!

I provide tailored materials for each student beyond the online lessons (I record and send videos of how to practice and write pdf exercises for each student). I’ve been teaching virtually since March 2020 and I am experienced teacher with adult beginners and kids.
